Short bio: Elle Jauffret is a French-born American lawyer, former criminal attorney, and writer. She is a graduate of Université Côte d’Azur Law School (France) and the George Washington University School of Law (USA). She writes children's adventures, speculative short stories, and mystery novels.

Long bio: Elle Jauffret is a French-born American lawyer and writer. She holds Juris Doctorates from Université Côte d’Azur Law School (France) and the George Washington University Law School (USA). She chaired the Pediatric Literacy Program at the Walter Reed Medical Center (the U.S. Presidents’ hospital) and is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Mystery Writers of America (MWA). She is an avid consumer of mystery and adventure stories in all forms, especially escape rooms. She  lives in California with her family but considers Maryland her home.
