
Short bio: Elle Jauffret is a French-born American lawyer and culinary enthusiast. She is a graduate of Université Côte d’Azur Law School (France) and the George Washington University School of Law (USA). She writes children's adventures, speculative short stories, and mystery novels.
Long bio: Elle Jauffret is a French-born American attorney and culinary enthusiast. She holds a Master of Laws from Université Côte d’Azur Law School (France) and a Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School (USA). She worked as a criminal attorney for the California Attorney General's office and chaired the Pediatric Literacy Program at the Walter Reed Medical Center (the U.S. Presidents’ hospital). She is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Mystery Writers of America, and Sisters in Crime. She is an avid consumer of mystery and adventure stories in all forms, and loves escape rooms. She lives in California with her family but considers both California and Maryland her home.
